Diana Patton District Treasurer Past District Governor

June 30, 2012 ended our 2011-2012 Toastmaster year and August 25, 2012 is the date to celebrate. My hope is that each and every member and club in District 25 has put together their club success plan for 2012-2013 to build on what they accomplished in the 2011-2012 year.


Please join me and members of District 25 in this opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the successes. Our District finished the year as Distinguished, all 6 Divisions were Distinguished or better, 27 of the 30 Areas were Distinguished or better, but best of all, there were 88 clubs in District 25 that completed the year as Distinguished or better. That number represents commitment by members, club officers, entire clubs, Area and Division Governor to their personal and collective goals.


Our annual Awards Banquet this year will be “An Evening to Shine”. If you have never attended an Awards Banquet this is the year to do it. If you have attended in the past, I hope to see you at this special evening. It is a time to dress up, visit with fellow members of District 25, and celebrate our accomplishments. Perhaps your club will want to reserve an entire table.


Check out list of awards in the District 25 “Hall of Fame” that will be awarded on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Ashton Depot, Fort Worth, TX. You will want to be there to pick up the ribbons for your club as well as some individual awards such as D25 Elite and the new Star Awards.
