Toastmasters taught me that we are all friends here to help each other.

Through leadership roles, I realized that leadership is more about influence than about authority. Everyone can have an influence for good in others.

Missing link: I never aspired to be a leader, but assumed the role of leader when there was a void in the leadership of a group. Through the DTM process, I realized the missing elements to my service.
