Yes, Your Club Can Be a DCP Star, Too!
There’s a new ribbon in District 25! The ten boxes represent the ten goals each club tries to achieve for the Distinguished Club Program, or DCP. The ribbons, which are being distributed at TLI events, come with 10 stars. Just place one star on the ribbon each time your club achieves a goal on the DCP! What a fun way to keep track of your club’s progress and to focus on our Toastmasters goals as we “Explore the Possibilities” in the upcoming year!
Explore the Possibilities!
Bonne Stroman Welcome to a bright new year in District 25 Toastmasters! I am excited about exploring the possibilities of Toastmasters with you as we go forward into the new year. Brian Tracy, self-help author and motivational speaker, said, “The potential of the average person is like a huge ocean unsailed, a new continent unexplored, a world of possibilities waiting to be released and channeled toward some great good.” This year I want each member to explore the possibilities waiting to be released within ourselves and within our clubs. What unexplored potential within ourselves will we develop this year to...

Connection and Improvement: How Do You Show That Each Member Is Important?
Amelinda Salas What are ways that you as a club officer or club member can add value to your club and help contribute to the club being so fun and educational that there is a low turn-over rate? It would be great if this year we did not lose any clubs and we had the highest retention rate ever. These are ideas to consider to show members they are important, give them a different tool to help them improve, and give them more opportunities to connect with the club. Have an assorted collection of club greeting cards. There are times...
