One First Timers’ Perspective on the District Conference

Having attended many professional conferences, this one ranked among the very best.  

The spring conference was much more than I anticipated. With the amazing Toastmasters in the contests, some of which had just started their Journey to Excellence, I was inspired. 

The education sessions really encouraged me to apply the principles to my professional career. The keynote speakers were top notch. I could not believe I was up close and personal with the person who invented the internet inside the phone!



Everyone was so warm and friendly and I could see it was a close knit society of professionals empowering each other.  

I am glad to be a toastmaster and I do not plan on missing another conference.  

The value of this conference far exceeded my expectations.
