Tea and Toastmasters

London is an extremely interesting city filled with lovely people.  This past December, I made it a point to visit Toastmasters clubs while in London.

I was pleased that my schedule allowed me to visit the early morning club, City Limits Speakers.  In December of 2014, I had the privilege of attending a pre-charter meeting when the club was in the process of chartering.  What fun to return a year later to see familiar faces and participate in this vibrant and cosmopolitan club meeting!

I joined the group for breakfast after the meeting at Brasserie Blanc the restaurant that provides a meeting room for the club.  Our breakfast discussions covered Toastmaster related items as well as little known London “gems” that I could add to my touring itinerary.

Visiting Toastmasters clubs while traveling is well worth the effort.  It will give you an expanded view of the Toastmasters program. You may also develop friendships as I have with Toastmasters around the world.
