David McCallister Honored with Presidential Citation for Exemplary Service

On August 13, David McCallister received the Presidential Citation at the Hall of Fame at the 2015 Toastmasters International Convention.  He was one of only 14 honored this year with this citation.

David McCallister was District Governor for District 25 2009-2010.  During that year District25 received President’s Distinguished recognition beginning six consecutive years of Distinguished or better for our District.

He was elected International Director 2011-2013.

The following was noted as the award was presented to David, “David is someone who is looked upon for guidance and encouragement in growing the organization.  More importantly, he is sharing his skills and knowledge with others in order to enhance each member’s experience and promote Toastmasters.”

The Hall of Fame program describes the Presidential Citation as follows:
Each year Toastmasters International recognizes with a special awards those members who have demonstrated exemplary service and dedication at the club, district or international level.  These remarkable Toastmasters have given their time, effort and passion for the organization.  As a result, they helped Toastmasters International maintain its reputation as the world leader in communication and leadership training.
