We ROCKED THE HOUSE!

We totally ROCKED THE HOUSE for the D25 Conference this past weekend! The Rock Stars of the Conference Committee welcomed conference goers with  . . .

• a warm, efficient welcome at Registration and a First Timers Bingo game and reception
• a fabulous stage set and table decorations with a rock and roll theme
• a playbill of movin’ music to set the tempo and get us rockin’
• photo stories of our district and conference events
• a banner parade to recognize and celebrate participating clubs
• motivating messages from our District leaders
• Friday Night Fun with a costume contest and Blast from the Past quiz (Guess who is wearing the tiara?)
• a hospitality suite with retro themed snacks (cookie hamburgers, anyone?) at the Rockin’ Sweet Shop and Diner
• a slate of motivational education and keynote presenters and an enlightening leadership panel 
• smoothly efficient Credentials and a professionally run Meeting of the District Council to conduct elections and district business
• an Awards Luncheon to celebrate our members’ and clubs’ accomplishments
• well-run contests featuring the best of the best speakers in District 25
• a dignitary parade to recognize District leaders, past and present
• exciting ceremonies, including installation of officers and our distinctive DTM ceremony
• delicious meals and attentive service from the hotel wait staff
• an intriguing announcement of the conference theme for  Fall 2015, “It’s a Mystery!”

Your Spring 2015 Conference Committee showed a strong commitment to putting on the best conference ever, and what a fabulous weekend we had! Thanks to each member and guest who attended our conference and joined in so enthusiastically! My deepest thanks to each of the members of the committee who helped D25 ROCK! If you want to have a great time getting to know other fun Toastmasters from across the district, volunteer to serve on the Fall 2015 Conference Committee. You will be glad you did!
