You may have recently attended the district’s Toastmasters Leadership Institute for training or the annual Awards Banquet where recognitions were received for individual and club success. Both events give District 25 Toastmasters reasons to gather and celebrate.
Your next opportunity to experience fellowship, recognition and expand learning is coming soon. Save the date for District 25’s Fall Conference to be held November 14-15, 2014 at DFW Marriott-Solana in Westlake, TX. Fun, food and friends (both longtime and first time) can be keys to opening doors of opportunity at the conference. Registration is now available online. Forms will also be available at area and division contests beginning September 20th. Full registration remains $125 through November 2, 2014. Make sure you register early to receive your early bird rate.
Begin the conference on Friday evening as we Put Out the Welcome Mat to all District 25 Toastmasters. For our First Timers a special reception is planned along with exciting rewards for earning keys to open doors prepared just for them. Don’t worry – we have activities planned for those tried and true conference attendees who make it a part of their Toastmasters’ essential events.
Display your club banner in the Hall of Honor and recognitions viewed by all. Remember to add your new ribbons on your banner with the current TM brand. It is a perfect opportunity for photos with all the club members attending.
Be sure to register your club banner.
A full schedule of education sessions partnered with enthusiastic and entertaining keynote speakers are offered to enhance your conference opportunities. Take advantage and open as many doors as you can. Click on the links for more information about the education session leaders and keynote speakers.
If you are one of the members of this year’s fall class of DTMs, congratulations for all your hard work! We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you on Saturday evening. Your success is key to the district’s fulfillment of the Toastmasters’ mission.
Consider this a personal invitation from all of us on the committee of District 25 to attend a great event where we all can open doors that we never knew existed.
