The awards were presented at the Awards Luncheon at the Fall Conference for the members who showed outstanding service for Toastmasters as an officer for their club for the period of January through June, 2012. Thanks to all of you who were in attendance to congratulate the recipients.

For the Outstanding District 25 Sergeant at Arms, this individual takes the duties and responsibilities of this position very seriously. Doing it right takes enthusiasm, dedication and an interest in serving your club members.

For the Outstanding District 25 Treasurer, this individual stepped in to manage the finances of the club. She collected dues, reported dues paid, prepared financial reports and kept the members informed.

For the Outstanding District 25 Secretary, this individual took this role to a completely new level, newsletters were submitted weekly to members and guests. The club minutes were exciting and informative. He serves as a positive example for the club.

For the Outstanding District 25 Vice President Public Relations, this individual is committed to promoting his club. He encourages members to post flyers by their offices, an innovative approach to advertising Toastmasters. He continually spreads the word about the benefits of Toastmasters.

For the Outstanding District 25 Vice President Membership, this individual was not content to merely hand out membership information to guests. She pursued new members, hunted them down and encouraged them to attend the club meetings. She left no stone unturned in her efforts to bring new people in and keep the ones the club had.

For the Outstanding District 25 Vice President Education, this individual displayed outstanding dedication and leadership skills in her club. She continually worked with members to help them achieve their educational goals. She put on a Speechcraft program which brought in new members and continued to support them in working towards their educational goals.

Susie Templeton, BNSF Toastmasters
For the Outstanding District 25 President, this individual led her club to its 11th consecutive year as a President’s Distinguished Club. She is a strong leader, always confident and cheerful. Weekly she reminded her club members to bring their books to the meetings. She was always early to great guests and members. She was always ready to step in where needed in any club meeting.
