The Flower Mound Club hosted a Speech-A-Thon on Saturday afternoon, January 17. The holidays had eliminated 2 meeting nights in November and December and the event was held to aid the members in completing speech objectives. Nationstar Speaks was invited to participate in the event and 2 members attended.

The meeting resulted in a new Competent Communicator, Craig Mammel, the club’s Sergeant-at-Arms, and a new Advanced Communicator Bronze, Prakash Murthy, the club’s VP Public Relations. One member used the opportunity of a smaller gathering to complete her Ice Breaker.
The event was considered a success. Suggestions made by those in attendance were to add Competent Leadership roles to the next event which will be held closer to the end of the Toastmaster year. If you would like to participate, please contact Joyce Trimble.
