On Wednesday, Feb 4, 2015 the AAFCU Wall Street boardroom was filled to the brim with Toastmasters and potential new members. It was THE place to be! Seventeen (yes, you read that right) guests attended and several even participated in Table Topics.
Toastmaster of the Day, Joshua Bauer, welcomed the guests as Staci Mims, VP-Membership, provided information packets to all guests. Robin Montalbo supported Staci Mims in collecting visitor information. The meeting was well run with members Eddy Tejada, Ellen Slezak, Patrick Sporl, and Todd Camp filling roles throughout the meeting.
Area 65 Governor, Celeste Castro, acted as evaluator of Tanika Pierce, club President. Tanika shared the benefits of Toastmasters that impacted her; all in her project #10 to complete her Competent Communication educational goal. General Evaluator, Kathy Brewer, conducted a positive evaluation session. Joshua Bauer encouraged comments from the guests and provided answers to their questions.
