District 25 had the honor of a special visitor at our Spring Conference. International Director Karen Blake made an official visit over our conference weekend. While in  District 25, she made visits to several existing clubs, a precharter meeting and several relationship visits.

  The pre-conference Thursday was packed with a visit to the Toastmasters club at Wells Fargo, a visit to the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, a pre-charter meeting at Brinks, a visit with USB Texas Toast sponsors and officers, officers of Speakers and Leaders of Tomorrow and concluded with attending the UTA club meeting!

Karen was a wonderful ambassador for Toastmasters as we visited each venue. She also was an important part of our conference presenting an educational session and the lunchtime keynote.

I enjoyed getting to know her on a personal level and appreciated the opportunity to get some sage advice on my upcoming role as District Governor.

This is a day I will fondly remember.
