Speakers Bureau – Belinda Mays

Belinda Mays is an IT professional, author, and diabetes advocate. Her synergy of communication and technical skills allows her to connect with a diverse audience at an intimate and individual level. She has given numerous presentations throughout North and Central Texas during conferences, community events and business luncheons.

Belinda obtained a BS in Computer Science and Communication from Huston-Tillotson University and received her Masters of Education from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a published poet and has performed on stage for Nikki Giovanni. Her children’s book My Amazing Dad, published in 2014 masters the balance of captivating the child while entertaining the adult.

Belinda also uses her “pleasant speaking voice” and “energetic stage presence” to educate and motivate others about Diabetes and provide practical ways to eat healthy and get active.
