It’s that time of year again. The weather is turning warmer, birdsongs fill the air, the days are growing longer, and once again–it’s time for the D25 Website Contest! Each May, a review of D25 club websites occurs, and to the winner go the spoils!
Information about the contest can be found on the district website. All clubs will be considered but in order to be reviewed your website must be listed on the D25 and International Find a Club pages. Deadline for consideration is 30 days before the opening of the District Conference and for our district that deadline is April 15th.
The down and dirty:
- Deadlines for consideration will be 30 days before the opening day of each District Conference. Links on the D25 and Toastmasters International sites must be valid by then.
- The website must remain accessible from the deadline through the conference dates, or it will be disqualified.
- The website must clearly indicate which club and district are being represented, or it will be disqualified.
- To be eligible, clubs must be in good standing with Toastmasters International – dues fully paid.
For more information, and the specific judging criteria, please see the district webpage.
The contest is an opportunity to review your page, and work to make it more attractive to potential future members. It’s also a chance to ensure that the basic information like when and where the club meets have been updated and are accurate. Most of all, it’s a chance for you to help your club shine! And there’s booty to boot–awards of $100, $75, and $50 to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners respectively. See past winners here.
