What’s In A Word?

What’s In A Word?

By Joyce Trimble, Contest Coordinator

One word, in and of itself, is just an utterance.  When you combine singular utterances, they become a living thought and information worthy to be shared.

Such is the case of words given me by fellow Toastmasters about our upcoming speech contest season.  Together these words tell the story of why District 25 has contests; contests that most exemplify “..empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders”.

Follow the link and complete the puzzle.

Print to pdf (see top left corner of the puzzle).

Return to joycetrimble@d25toastmasters.org. by February 15, 2020.   Your Name and Area must be in the subject line.

The first correct submission from each area will be recognized and presented with a District Focus pin at their Area contest…you must be present to be recognized.

Look for weekly Contest Word of the Week to help complete the puzzle.  They will be posted on our D25 Facebook Group .

And fellow Toastmasters, that’s “What’s In A Word!”
