Club Resources-Going Digital!

Club Resources-Going Digital!

By Diana Patton, DTM Webmaster

Club officers should have received the following email from Toastmasters International May 14, 2019 regarding going digital on various documents.  Link to these documents and web pages can be found on D25 club resource and contest resource pages.

Dear Club Officers,

In the March Leader Letter, we shared that the components of the Club Officer Kit will no longer be printed. This includes the Club Leadership Handbook,Speech Contest Rulebook, and the Distinguished Club Program and Club Success Plan manual. In the past, we have sent these materials to the club president for distribution to the newly elected club officers.

Beginning this program year, the Club Officer Kit will only be available as a digital resource. This will enable new leaders to always have access to the most up-to-date information and eliminates mailing challenges. Please share the following resources with new club officers when they are elected for the 2019 – 2020 program year:

Club Central

  • New, dual, and reinstated membership application submissions
  • Membership dues and fee payments
  • Education award submissions
  • Updates to club information (meeting location, time, email address)
  • Club financial information from the last two years
  • Administrative and historical club reports

These documents will be regularly updated throughout the program year, so be on the lookout for the latest version.

Additionally, please share the Leader Letter, our monthly newsletter with important information, including deadlines, reminders, announcements, and more, with incoming officers to help them in their role. As a leader, they will get this information first, so make sure they pass it along to the rest of their club members!

Thank you for your continued dedication and service to your club. If you have any questions, please email clubofficers@toastmasters.org.

Sincerely,

Club and Member Support Team
