“Here she comes to save the day!” Our March Outstanding Member is no underdog, but she is a true hero. During work hours, she’s a quiet, dedicated, busy CPA. But when called upon, she threw on her superhero cape and stepped up to serve out the last few months of the year as Area 44 Director. Life circumstances happen, and the previously appointed AD had to step away from the role. But, with four months still left, those clubs needed someone to step up and continue the good work that had been started. Terry Mencke graciously agreed to fill in. She jumped in with both feet, making phone calls and club visits, just as if she’d been with them all year. With the help and support of Area 45 Director (and husband) Chuck Mencke and Division D Director Jill Morrison, those clubs still have a friendly face to walk alongside them for the remainder of the year. Thank you Terry for being a hero to our members.
