The morning of August 24th crackled with excitement as we watched Hannah compete with the best speakers from nine other Districts around the globe.

Hannah was amazing as she taught the audience about the meaning of the words sympathy and empathy as well as the circumstances that made those concepts real to her.

The live performance of the 10 speakers flew by.  Before we knew it the Toastmaster had completed his interviews of the contestants and was announcing the winners.  When Hannah’s name was called as the third place winner, the room erupted with whooping and hollering by Hannah’s family and the small group of members attending from District 25!

When you see Hannah around the District congratulate her on this accomplishment – we are proud of her!
