There may be as many reasons to honor special people, as there are people to honor. Yet, have you ever wondered why we honor people in the first place? We honor people with recognition programs such as “The Outstanding Officer Awards Program” because it gives us an opportunity to tell others about the great job our club officers have done. It gives us an opportunity to say “Thank You”.

At the District Awards Luncheon it was a time for our officers to stand up and be recognized and receive a plaque from the District. These were the officers recognized:
               President – Jayesh Pujara, Las Colinas Communicators
               VP Education – James Cosgrove, Top Notch Toastmasters
               VP Membership – Will Perkins, Vista Ridge Toastmasters
               VP Public Relations – Pat Quick, ARBOR Toastmasters
               Secretary – Linda Olson, ARBOR Toastmasters
               Treasurer – Colleen Lara, First Command Club
               Sergeant At Arms – Art Rolader, ARBOR Toastmasters
