Each year the Alignment Committee develops a preliminary proposal that realigns clubs within District 25 boundaries to allow clubs and members to be more effectively served by the district leadership and area governors. Clubs are best served when an area governor is assigned between four to six clubs. To further facilitate service to the clubs most areas are assigned geographically except for a few areas.
The Alignment Committee approved a 2014-2015 preliminary proposal and will present it for a vote at the District Executive Council (DEC) on March 15, 2014. After the DEC vote a realignment proposal will be presented for a vote for final approval at the Annual District Council at the Spring Conference on May 3, 2014. The new alignment becomes effective July 1, 2014.
The preliminary alignment remains subject to revisions if necessary. Therefore, the Alignment Committee values your voice. If you want the committee to consider your comments, please send an email by April 15th to Alignment Committee Chair Michael Kinser.
