Jim’s Last Class

The scores are in, and Cindy Hinckley, Mike Kinser, Jodie Sanders, and Bonne Stroman, District 25 members all, are now members of the National Association of Parliamentarians! As students in Jim Monahan’s last parliamentary procedure class, we took the test in early January, shortly after his death in December.

We were determined to do Jim proud and pass the test with honors, as he prided himself on how well his students had always done on the test. Our scores range from 97 to 99 percent on the test, a testament to the excellence of Jim’s instruction.

Thank you, Jim, for the knowledge you generously shared with us, for your care and concern for each of us, and for your inspiration. We know you are smiling down at us tonight. We hope to be worthy of your great legacy.
