Public Health Speakers, an open club that meets every other Thursday at Tarrant County Public Health, held a successful open house on Halloween. Despite the timing, the meeting was not scary for guests. All enjoyed a compelling guest speaker, Toastmaster Cedric James (whose home club is TCU Toastmasters), as well as the cordiality of the club’s members, great food and decorations. The meeting resulted in the addition of several new members.
Cedric James, who played football for the Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University (TCU) and also picked up a Super Bowl ring during his National Football League career, gave a stirring motivational speech during an open house held by Public Health Speakers.

Guests at the Public Health Speakers open house had plenty of food to enjoy as they learned about the many benefits of being a Toastmaster.
