On March 24, the Off the Cuff Toastmasters Club had their second official meeting. Attendance was good and everyone was able to participate in some way. We had three brave people volunteer to do their first “off-the-cuff” speeches — Jodie Sanders, Felicia Christian, and Bob Samuel. For first timers, they all did a Fabulous job. We learned that Jodie views life’s challenges as Sunny Days with Rain, Felicia inspired us with her take on Thunderstorms, and Bob let us join him on a flight with Unexpected Weather Conditions.

Everyone honored the true Toastmasters tradition with their speeches and we celebrated with Felicia because her off-the-cuff speech earned her the wonderful title Competent Communicator!!!! That’s right, folks, Felicia did her Project 10: Inspire Your Audience speech with only 5 minutes of preparation … now THAT is Inspirational in itself!
