A great team and a great contest!

I hope that you have attended at least one Area Contest this season. The Area Governors and their teams put a tremendous amount of effort into each contest, and the contestants have been excellent. We have heard wonderful test speakers, great evaluations, and have laughed hilariously at the Humorous Speeches.

“And now the moment we have all been waiting for . . .”

There is still plenty of time left in the contest season for you to attend at least one contest. It could be the beginning of a whole new outlook for you. My first Area Contest was the spark I needed to ignite my passion for Toastmasters, and I have never looked back!

Obviously, contests are a lot of fun!

The Area Contest season concludes on Friday night, October 21st. The winners of the Area Contests will go on to compete at the Division Contests being held October 28th – November 5th. The Division winners will compete at the Fall Conference. The District Speech Evaluation Contest will be on Friday night, November 18th and the District Humorous Speech Contest will be on Saturday afternoon, November 19th. Make plans now to attend!
